Every storage unit auction gets a base score from 0 to 100. It is built from rules you can read, not a hidden rank. A higher score means the listing shows more of the signals that tend to make a unit worth a closer look. It is a starting point for your own research, not a promise of what is inside.
Larger units usually hold more. Very large units can mean bulky items and more cleanup.
A low bid relative to the unit size leaves more room for resale.
Auctions that close soon get attention first, so you can still act on them.
Listings with several clear photos are easier to judge than a single dark shot.
Units closer to the ZIP you choose rank higher than ones far away.
Words in the title and description that point to resale value, or to junk and cleanup.
When the title or description mentions one of these categories, the default rules move the score.

It does not see inside the unit, it does not bid for you, and it does not guarantee resale value. Always open the original auction, look at every photo, read the facility's terms, and decide for yourself.
